I love the app – thank you! But – I’ve only gotten to use it twice. I now get a message “Memory Worning” every time I use it. I have 3.6GB left on my 8GB iPhone. Is this a bug?

I think it’s not a bug.
iPhone’s memory for running app, not HD space for data, is very limited.
When you run big application before launching old camera, playing long music behind app, or safari has a lot of subwindow, sometimes memory is not enough for run camera.
When memory is too low, most of app crashes, but in my case it displays warning before that.
simply turn off iPhone by holding power button, and restart again. It works like a charm for most of iPhone problem.!
This is a great app. Thanks for developing. However, after a few uses I was taking a photo and my iPhone (8Gig 3G) locked up tight. I could only get it to respond by plugging into my computer, starting iTunes and doing a reset. I uninstalled Old Camera until after I contact you for assistance.

More than hundreds of people uses Old Camera, but I havent heard such a serious crush. It is first report.
If possible could you email me more situation?
E.G Do you use jail breaken iPhone, what other apps you have, what did you do just before you use Ole Camera, Are there any warning alert before crash app?

As i said on my blog (by the way, thanks for your comment ! ) i really felt in love with OldCamera and ToyCamera.
Nothing negative to say :if no memory, i quit some app (Safari for example) by holding long time the button home.
But… i suddently thought… why 2 applications and not 2 filters in a same application ? OldCamera and ToyCamera could be a same application…

At first it was one application, but later some pople ask me to make only black and white lite version.

さて、ご指摘いただき試してみたところ、やはり普通に撮った写真は取り込めるのですが、toycameraで撮った写真だけは取り込めません。エラーの際に表示される文は
AppName: componentlauncher.exe AppVer: 3.2.0.14919 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512 Offset: 00010cae
となっております。アドバイスいただければうれしいです。

了解いたしましたこちらでも検証してみます。
現在OldCameraの画像の保存は、iPhone開発キットが提供している機能をそのまま使っている為、直接この部分を修正することは難しいかと思います。
検証としては、非Appleの他のアプリ(CameraBagやToyDigi)等でも同じ現象がおきるか確認や、アップルの開発者フォーラムへの報告が中心になると思います。
取り急ぎの解決案としては、windows xp sp2の場合、
スタートアップ > アクセサリ > スキャナとカメラウィザード
より、ToyCameraの画像を含む、 写真の取り込みができることを自分の環境では確認しています。
原因が解決するまでは、お手数ですがこちらからの取り込みをお願いできますでしょうか。

The only reason to buy this app was that it did what it said “Old Camera” Now it is just a black and white camera. It was totaly destroyed in this upgrade. Was aiming to start a oldcamera photo blog to day snd started the day by upgading to 2.0. And now it is useless.

I feel very sorry about that bug.
We are already re posted ver 2.01 to the apple.
As soon as it passes apple’s review problem will be fixed within few days.
Problem is that when we publish debug build it works fine, and this bug only happens when we published distribution build for release. Thats why we cant find this bug.

本日iPhone OS2.2にアップデートしたところ、Old Camera で撮った画像（過去のものも含む）が、カメラロールに正しく保存されなくなりました。
具体的には、解像度が90*120になってしまいます。
しかも、メールに添付するとこのサイズのまま送信出来てしまいます。
このため、Old Camera ソフトが現状使用不能に近い状態です。
他に同じたぐいと思われる症状の画像アプリもありますので、OSのバグだと思います。
既出かもしれませんが、ご報告させていただきました。正直、困りました。
I’d like to report a problem. I have both toy camera and old camera apps on iphone, when I press toy camera and take phone, after process complete it show me b/w phone. It seem old camera take the job.

Hi! I downloaded your Old Camera today, I really like it! I miss my old 35mm I had back in college, and this app allows me to achieve similar effects. The only bug I’ve run into is in my “Photos” menu, the top header that displays my signal, carrier, time, battery, etc., has changed into a grayscale, along with the header “Photo Albums”. As opposed to the blue-ish-steel color. I unsynced the app from my phone and the problem is still there. I’m hoping you can fix this bug because I want my headers to go back to the way they were. Hope you can help! Thanks!

I really love the camera effects of this software. You haven’t by any chance developed some actions or filters for Photoshop that can do this stuff have you?

this is a wonderful app and i have taken many old-school hollywood type photos with it! any adice on how to tweak that kind of platinum glamour photo would be appreciated. Here’s a question: my wife took a photo that was supposed to be in very high saturated color, golden sunset, etc…but used old camera by accident. is there a way to restore the raw file? could not do anything with photoshop. thanks and keep up the great great work!!
Love the app allot use it all the time. But I would greatly apreciate you updating the app so you load images from the library. I dnt like how I have to take an image process it then if it’s not right I hve to adjust settings an do it again. It gets anoying. Thanks
