iPhone OS2.2 has serious bug in image handling.
All images with size of 600 by 800 (not only my app) can not be displayed properly in the photo album.
Also you can not attach this size of image to the email.
However image is successfully saved into your folder. You can view the fine picture with PC, by using iTunes sync or importing with other app.
I will change the image size to 600 by 801 to avoid this problem as quick fix.
As soon as apple fix this bug, all images will be fine. Please ask apple to fix it.
Now I released new version of ToyCamera, and OldCamera that saves image as 600*801 to avoid this problem.

i buyed this fantastic application
just a question for you….why images resolution it’s only 600×800px? other photo apps like “vintage B&W” have a double resolution (1600×1200)….
Hi fabio.
Thanks for your using my app.
It is good question!
Concept of my app is focued on much more ToyCamera simulator than image processing software.
So “Easy to shoot” is very important. 1600*1200 is little bit slow for my app, and hens it drives pepole to stop take a photo in their everyday life.
If many people want to have setting panel, i may add it, but basically I don’t want to have so much setting, because camera should not have undo or postprosessing control.
Anyway thanks for your oppinion, I will remind your demand.
Hi i wonder when is going to be the update for this bug of the toy camera app? is the best application i payd for. but im getting tired of taking great photos and cant watch it on my iPhone.
thaks for this great application

@Leo
I have already released ver 2.00, it includes quick aid for this bug.
Check it on the app store.
Thanks
Did you notice that when a picture is viewed on a dark background that there is a white line that runs the length of the picture? I have noticed it on many different peoples’ pictures.
purchased Toy Camera, love it. But would ask for a feature add on. Allow the user to set the resolution. 600×801 is great, but havin the option at least to set it higher would be a plus. At least allow us to have the option to wait longer or have it be faster. I for one, would wait longer and have a higher rez photo.
@Swapper
Thanks for your letting me know.
I will check about it.
@Joel
Yes, some people ask me that idea.
If possible I want to add it.
Problem is that ToyCamera and OldCamera’s image processing is very memory consuming.
processing 1200*1600 sometimes crash iPhone at this moment.
When I get more memorymanagement skill, I may add it.
Thanks
hi.. i cant get the update of the 2.0 toy camera app.. i have the 1.30 version and i see that existe the 2.0 version.. but it say that i have to buy it again.. i cant update it.. WHY??? pls help me
@Leo
Some people reports same problem.
I’m not sure but it may kind of bug around appStore.
First remove ToyCamera from iPhone(not iTunes), and tap buy button again. You can see dialog, “You have already purchaced the app, do you want to download for free?”, or something like that… I don’t know how it is displayed on the English.
Anyway you can re-download for free.
If you have failed with this, please give me an email.
Thanks so much.. i did it.. i download it again for free..
again thanks for this app. is really cool. As grafic designer i love to have this tool on my hand.
For the future.. can you add a botton to go directly to our camera roll??
happy new year and merry cristmas..
