I love the shutter effect. It provides good audio feedback indicating whether or not you missed the desired shot as you rush from one point to the next in the given time.

Oh seems, many people dont like shutter effect.

Please dont worry so much, first I do experiment and if it is not so useful I dont add it.
Simple white flashing may be much handy and functional.

i have no problem with the shutter sound. to me, when shutter interval is over 1 sec, being able to see the subject during the interval to make sure that i'm not shaking too much. maybe make it an optional feature?

i'm more concerned with the picture quality. it'd be perfect if your app can retain the resolution (800x600) of each snapshots when stitching them together!

Hi nor and garoo.
I can agree that you guys worring about.

Next version has 30% faster image processing speed, and I got some memory space to do.
Also I dont want to make speed slower with the effect.

Probably when shutter interval is less than 1sec, iris effect is omitted and white or black flashing will be used. First when you release button, QuadCamer plays shutter sound, and takes picture, after that during the shutter interval, it shows effect if there is enough space.

Is it OK?

No. No. Please? No :)

Flashing the screen white (or black) to indicate when each photo is taken would be nice, but anything more would get in the way of framing the shot.

First of all, thanks for the great app! It is simple, elegant, and awesome in every aspect.

As for the iris effect - will it require more processing power and hence slow the already memory-intensive app? frankly i find the iris effect in the native camera app a bit bothersome, since it creates a pretty long gap between the image where i release the "camera" icon and the image taken. ideally, i want to see the former "frozen" to become the later. the gap creates uncertainty and, often, the need to take a few more shots to get the image right.
