Loag awated animated GIF exporter is now embedded into QuadCamera!

With QuadCamera 2.30, you can export animated GIF via Twitter or Email.
Process to export is quite simple.

1: Take / Import a picture.
2: Select animation mode from bottom of the menu.
3: Select export button form bottom right of the menu.
4: Thats it.

Also noew is $0.99 sale for Animated GIF. In addition we got extra prpmo codes, if you are blogger / media, feel free and contact me.

World first music video taken with iPhone 3G?

Just got email from Mario Cavalli, English moving image director.

According to Mario, XIAO GE ER may be the first music video shot entirely on a (non-video) iPhone 3G.
In addition happy thing to me is that all images are taken with my app QuadCamera! Its really fun to see. :-)

This video XIAO GE ER is included in the Akira Kosemura’s forthcoming album Grasslands. Video is directed by Mario Cavalli

Best App Ever Award 2009

At 2009 Best App Ever Award, three of my apps are nominee.

Today on the MacWorld expo, they announced final winners. To my surprise is that my QuadCamera got winner of The Best Photography App !!!

Also TiltShift Gen got 2nd place of Best Photo Manipulation App!!

In addition my ToyCamera also got honarable mention for both The Best Photography App and Best Photo Manipulation App :-)

I cant beleave three of three apps are selected!! Sees only my applications are winner from Japan. I have to say thank you to all of my users!! One of the greatest thing of app store is that just individual developer release app to all over the world, and he/she can interact with many users.

I will keep making good apps for the future!!! thanks thanks.

AdWords for Haiti Earthquake project

I just got $50, free trial ticket for Google AdWords.

I have notthing to do with it. So I descided to do a small experiment. ;-)

I made google ad that is linked to unicef’s Haiti Earthquake donation page. I don’t know google got approved it or not, just tried.

I think there are a lot of unused free AdWords ticket. If everyone use them for these kind of trial, it may make something better. Just try if you have any unused ticket.

iPhone Metronome app built with Flash

My new app is free Metronome app.
The point of the app is that it is built with Adobe Flash CS5, Flash for iPhone technology. I think this is the first iPhone app that is built with Flash in Japan.

I can’t talk a detail about it in this moment.

The reason why I made metronome as my first iPhone app is that I wanted to do some technical research for speed and animation. Because many people said that flash is too slow for iPhone. Actually I cant agree with that opinion.

As you see the app, it seems that flash for iPhone is enough fast to create actual project. It may be not for 3D FPS game, but do we need super fast animation just for an utility app? I don’t think so. In addition the greatest thing about Flash is that, we can easily make both app for iPhone and app for online demo!!! Promoting iPhone app is one of the biggest difficulty about app store, now only flash developer can upload online working demo to their website. Its a strong advantage! (In this moment, I don’t upload online demo, because swf file may contains some codes.)

This metronome app is very simple. I’m planning to distribute source code as an open source. Source code will be available after actual CS5 release date(I don’t know when it is). For more further announcement please follow my twitter account. :-)

2009 Best App Ever Award

Today I received announcement of 2009 Best App Ever Award from 148apps.
Good news is that three of my apps are selected as nominees. Its honor to me, because it seems that only my apps are selected from Japan except Space Invader Infinity.

Staibility bug for QuadCam 2.0

Here is a bug report.
QuadCam 2.0 is sometimes unstable, when you view animation mode.
If QuadCam crush and you can’t launch QuadCam again, please turn off and restart iPhone please.

This bug will be fixed in next update.
I’m very sorry about your inconvenience. :-(

Next update will out around beginning to middle of January, its depends on apple’s review team, but actually new version is almost ready. QuadCam 2.1 supports this stability bug fix and in-app twitter post.

Multi-Language for TiltShiftGen

Now I’m doing multiple language support for TiltShift Generator.

First thee language is French, Korean, Chinese, and German. Spanish, Russian, and Spanish follows next.
Please let me know if there is something strange expression in tutorial.
